Conjunction Guard

Automated manoeuvre recommendations for high-value spacecraft.

Conjunction Guard turns close-approach warnings into decisions. Instead of leaving operators with a stack of conjunction data messages, the programme screens every pairing, ranks the genuine risks and proposes a concrete, fuel-aware avoidance manoeuvre — within seconds.

  • Hourly all-versus-all screening of the full catalogue
  • Collision probability with calibrated confidence
  • Fuel-aware avoidance manoeuvres within seconds
  • Secondary-risk re-screening before every recommendation

All-versus-all screening

Millions of orbital pairings are screened every hour. Geometric filters reduce the search space, and the remaining candidates are evaluated with full covariance-based probability of collision, so alerts reflect real risk rather than raw proximity.

Manoeuvre planning

For each actionable event the engine searches the manoeuvre space for the smallest burn that brings collision probability below the mission threshold, while respecting station-keeping windows, payload duty cycles and remaining propellant.

Secondary-risk checking

Every candidate manoeuvre is re-screened against the full catalogue before it is recommended, so an avoidance burn never creates a new conjunction downstream.

Human in the loop

Operators keep final authority. Recommendations arrive with the underlying geometry, probability history and a plain-language rationale, so the flight director can approve, adjust or reject with full situational awareness.
