Sea Security: orbital sensing that detects maritime threats and protects shipping

Coverage where no coastal radar reaches — the open ocean.

Most of the planet is water, and most of it is beyond the reach of coastal sensors. From orbit the ocean is not a blind spot: vessels, wakes, spills and anomalies are visible day and night, in every sea state that matters.

Detect

AIS reports, satellite radar and optical imagery are fused so that a ship which switches off its transponder is still seen. Course, speed and behaviour are compared with the vessel's declared voyage and with normal traffic on that route.

Protect

Collision risk, drifting vessels, illegal transfers, oil spills and loitering above subsea cables or pipelines become alerts for coastguards, operators and shipping companies, with position, confidence and history attached.

Subsea and offshore infrastructure

Cables, pipelines and offshore energy sites are protected by watching surface behaviour above them — unusual anchoring or repeated loitering is flagged long before damage is reported.

Search and rescue

In an emergency the same picture narrows the search area, supports drift modelling and coordinates the closest vessels — anywhere on the ocean, not just near a coast.

Messages are compact and prioritised, so critical warnings still get through on a degraded or congested link.
